Sargasso is located out on the Harbour Arm in Margate. It’s been on my wishlist for ages, so we booked a table on a hot summer evening. It’s stools rather than chairs and benches for outside dining, so not really somewhere to linger. We sat at the bar with a good view of the open kitchen and ordered a few dishes from the tapas menu. The food was good, especially the tomato salad and sourdough bread but a bit more expensive than expected.
You also need to be aware that there is no toilet in the restaurant itself, only two porta loos next door.
