{"id":3117,"date":"2009-09-18T19:26:48","date_gmt":"2009-09-18T18:26:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/noexpert.co.uk\/?p=3117"},"modified":"2021-11-01T23:26:59","modified_gmt":"2021-11-01T23:26:59","slug":"the-foliage-without-chris-staines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/?p=3117","title":{"rendered":"The Foliage without Chris Staines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Felt a bit odd returning to the <a title=\"Foliage\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mandarinoriental.com\/london\/dining\/foliage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Foliage<\/a> our favorite restaurant following the regime change.\u00a0 Alex Marks is now the Head Chef, he was Chris Staines Sous chef for a couple of years and had formally worked at <a title=\"The Square\" href=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/?p=4967\" target=\"_self\">The Square<\/a>. The menu still retains a number of Chris&#8217;s dishes, and a few new ones from Alex. Time will tell if all these changes are for the best. One thing is for sure is that we will miss Chris Staines and the Foliage once it goes for good.
