{"id":304,"date":"2009-07-20T09:48:48","date_gmt":"2009-07-20T08:48:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/noexpert.co.uk\/?p=304"},"modified":"2023-07-26T07:35:17","modified_gmt":"2023-07-26T06:35:17","slug":"miles-cafe-culture-in-ramgate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/?p=304","title":{"rendered":"Miles Cafe Culture in Ramsgate (Closed)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the highlights on the culinary front, in an area sadly lacking in good places to eat, is <a title=\"Miles Cafe Culture\" href=\"http:\/\/www.milesbarramsgate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Miles Cafe Culture<\/a>.\u00a0 It is in a prime location overlooking the harbour.\u00a0\u00a0It is open all day\/every day.\u00a0\u00a0It\u00a0has a very good breakfast menu,\u00a0 much better that the usual greasy all day breakfasts a lot of the places in Ramsgate do. The handmade sausages being a highlight.<\/p>\n<p>The kitchen is pretty much geared up to provide an opportunity for all day food grazing, should you find it hard to leave!\u00a0 On our last visit we were especially impressed by the &#8220;fresh&#8221; Calamari* rings that were made to order.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-304 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure I would suggest booking for that, as there is limited space in the Restaurant\u00a0section and this is popular among the more well healed locals and London visitors.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The wines are also of a good standard, from about \u00a340 for the Amerone to about \u00a313 for the Riddle Riesling-Gew\u00fcrztraminer.<\/p>\n<p>UPDATE &#8211; December 2013 : We paid another Visit to this vibrant bar, but were very disappointed when we ordered the Calamari*, it had been so lovely on my last visit, I just assumed it would be again. No such luck &#8211; something had definitely changed. It was like eating elastic bands. I love Calamari when it is done well and hate it when it is like this.
