Howards restaurant in Kensington, it was recently awarded a Michelin star.<\/p>\n<p>Phillip Howard is <a title=\"Nigel Platts-Martin\" href=\"http:\/\/www.caterersearch.com\/Articles\/2006\/09\/22\/308914\/Nigel-Platts-Martin.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nigel Platts-Martins<\/a> partner at <a title=\"The Square\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>I have to admit it did not have the WOW factor of <a title=\"The Ledbury\" href=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/?p=13066\" target=\"_self\">The Ledbury<\/a> or <a title=\"The Square\" href=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/?p=4967\" target=\"_self\">The Square<\/a> or even <a title=\"Chez Bruce\" href=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/?p=13919 \" target=\"_self\">Chez Bruce<\/a>, but it was a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday lunch time.\u00a0 The set Sunday lunch at\u00a0 \u00a325 a head\u00a0 is not particularly adventurous, but what they do, they do well. My Whitebait starter had maybe a bit too much batter for some tastes, but was fresh, tasty and not in the least bit greasy. The potted pork rillette was a bit ordinary but fine for a set lunch. The mains were well received.
