I discovered Theo Randalls<\/a> cooking a few years back at the \u00a0Taste of London – Food Festival<\/a>, so I was looking forward to something quite special when I visited his restaurant at the\u00a0InterContinental Hotel<\/a>, especially since the restaurant has 3 AA Rosettes.<\/p>\n

We went for “the cheap option”, i.e.,\u00a0a pre-theatre deal.\u00a0\u00a0Thinking that might be an easy way to\u00a0check\u00a0out the Restaurant.<\/p>\n

I really do not understand it when quality restaurants let themselves down at this stage.\u00a0 My view is that if they make the cheap deal\u00a0appetising, I am going to want to go back and\u00a0try more of the menu.<\/p>\n

Theo Randalls\u00a0pre theatre\u00a0menu was really basic,\u00a0the pasta was not very exciting and actually a bit messy.<\/p>\n

In fact the excitement was just outside the window next to our table, the Paparazzi were\u00a0there covering some award ceremony in the Ballroom. On the\u00a0plus side this \u00a0meant we got good service, as the staff kept popping over to have a look \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
