Where to eat?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Passed by <a title=\"Dishoom\" href=\"http:\/\/dishoom.com\/\" target=\"_self\">Dishoom<\/a>, looked interesting but my friend was not a fan of Indian food.<\/li>\n<li>Next door was <a title=\"Jamies Italian\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jamieoliver.com\/italian\/covent-garden\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jamie&#8217;s Italian<\/a> (part of the Jamie Oliver chain &#8211; I am wary of celebrity chef chains following our <a title=\"Abode\" href=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/?p=1510\" target=\"_self\">Abode<\/a> experience), plus it had a huge queue outside &#8211; No Way.<\/li>\n<li>Thought we would try the new <a title=\"The Hawksmoor\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thehawksmoor.co.uk\/\" target=\"_self\">Hawksmoor in Seven Dials<\/a> just 3 days after it opened, on a walk in &#8211; No Chance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Getting desperate. I vaguely remembered an OK basement cocktail bar I had been to years ago. Did it still exist? Could I find it?. Yes <a title=\"Detroit\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sevendials.co.uk\/store\/detroit\" target=\"_self\">Detroit<\/a> was still there. I would highly recommend the Strawberry and Cream cocktail.
