check out its button wall, which looks like an Art installation<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-26749\" src=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_20160123_113358473_HDR.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Harbour Street and Charlotte Court<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>In Harbour Street you will find <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/m.facebook.com\/TheSaltworksCompany\/\">Alchemy by Saltworks<\/a><\/strong> a lovely shop selling Womens &amp; Mens wear with a focus on shoes and bags, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.turnerroweartcentre.com\/\">Turner Rowe Art Centre<\/a><\/strong> selling Glass &amp; Ceramic Art works and souvenirs and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cocobarclay.com\/\">Limarni<\/a><\/strong> a shop selling designer handbags, backpacks and accessories made by Coco Barclay.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-28879 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/resize1630081657561.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"735\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/resize1630081657561.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/resize1630081657561-261x300.jpg 261w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 85vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Charlotte Court is just off Harbour Street and in the Old Police Station at 12 Charlotte Court you will find the original branch of\u00a0<strong><a title=\"The Saltworks\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/The-Saltworks-631454426939730\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saltworks<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0arguably\u00a0one of the most interesting and stylish shops in Thanet<strong>. <\/strong> They have done a great job converting the old police cells.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-25284\" title=\"tn_sw1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/tn_sw1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>York Street, Queen Street and Turner Street<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>A branch of the artisanal bakery <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.staplestores.co.uk\/\">S<\/a><\/strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.staplestores.co.uk\/\">taple Stores<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is located near the bottom of York Street and for bouquets, flowers and plants you have the attractive\u00a0<strong><a title=\"York Street Flower Shop\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ramsgateflorist.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">York Street Flower Shop<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-29157 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/resize1634425352575.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"511\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/resize1634425352575.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/resize1634425352575-300x240.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 85vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">then towards the top of York Street in Queen Street you will also find a rather stylish Homeware and Plant shop called <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pottersramsgate.com\/\">Potters.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These shops are on the same street as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unionramsgate.com\/\">Union Yoga + Cafe<\/a>, and just round the corner from the award winning\u00a0<a title=\"Flavours by Kumar\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flavoursbykumar.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Flavours by Kumar<\/a> &#8211; a modern India Restaurant in Effingham Street that serves delicious food.<\/p>\n<p>You can head up the High Street a bit and turn off at Turner Street to check out two shops\u00a0\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.therecoverywell.co.uk\/\">The Recovery Well\/Wellbeing Hub<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0which sells products such as oil burners, soy wax and other eco friendly wellbeing products for personal use and for the home,<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-28883 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/resize1630082607812.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/resize1630082607812.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/resize1630082607812-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 85vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.magickramsgate.co.uk\/\">Magick<\/a><\/strong>, a Wican &amp; <a title=\"Addlington Street\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.co.uk\/maps\/place\/Addington+St\/@51.3308042,1.414543,17z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x47deaca8e1cddddb:0x83f810140534f8e2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Addington Street<\/a>.\u00a0 This street is in the early stages of regeneration and has such a lot of potential.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On the corner you can&#8217;t miss\u00a0<strong><a title=\"Vinyl Head\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/vinylheadramsgate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vinylhead<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 a rather cool record shop<strong>,<\/strong>\u00a0selling old and new vinyl, a real find for music lovers, and much bigger than it looks from the outside.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-28573\" src=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/tn_IMG_vh.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"735\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Then head up Addington Street, the home of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thefalstafframsgate.com\/\">The Falstaff Hotel<\/a>, and a range of interesting shops including :-<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/designerweardressagency?igsh=MWlpaHd3ajY0MzF5Ng==\">SWAG<\/a>, a Designer Dress Agency &amp; Boutique &#8211; packed with clothes and accessories ranging from Louis Vuitton. Gucci and Moschino to Zara and Calvin Klein.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/jiveafterfive\"><strong>The Sewing Room<\/strong><\/a>, a high\u00a0quality clothes alterations and repairs service that also sells vintage clothing.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.silkroaddesign.co.uk\/\">Silk Road <\/a><\/strong>for preloved and Handmade items for the home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Odds &amp; Sods<\/strong> for preloved &amp; upcycled Furniture &amp; Homeware.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>The Marina<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">On one side of the Marina, you have the Arches, where you will find some retro\/vintage\/antique shops (see\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/?page_id=28792\">Ramsgate Retro Shopping Guide<\/a><\/strong> for more information)\u00a0 and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/m.facebook.com\/clareyschocs\/\">Clareys Chocolates<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0the Ramsgate Chocolatier making artisan chocolate, operating from <a href=\"https:\/\/m.facebook.com\/cocolatino19\/\">Coco Latino.<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong>The High Street<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The High Street in Ramsgate, like so many High Streets in the UK these days is rather empty, but there are still a few interesting shops, at 1-3 High Street you&#8217;ll find <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/m.facebook.com\/theramsgatethriftstore\/\">Ramsgate Thrift Store<\/a><\/strong>, then if you head for the top end of the street there are some more shops, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/m.facebook.com\/islandvintagestore\/\">Island Vintage <\/a><\/strong>with it&#8217;s large and diverse collection of ceramics, a collection of vinyl, Hi-Fi, CDs &amp; cassettes, <strong>Velvet &amp; Rose<\/strong> a clothing, accessories &amp; perfume shop, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boardathomegaming.co.uk\/\">Board at Home<\/a> selling a wide range of board games, puzzles and accessories and just around the corner in Chatham Street there is <strong>Howling Sounds<\/strong> a specialist Vinyl record shop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><em style=\"font-size: 1.17em;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 23px;\"><em>Retro\/Vintage\/AntiqueShops<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One Shop not to miss is the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.petticoatemporium.com\">Petticoat Lane Emporium<\/a><\/strong> which is a collection of Shops and Stalls, it&#8217;s the starting point for the <em>Ramsgate Retro Trail<\/em> described in the <em>Ramsgate Retro Shopping Guide.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/?page_id=28792\">Click here<\/a> to view the <strong>Ramsgate Retro Shopping Guide.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong style=\"font-size: 28px;\"><em style=\"font-size: 23px; font-weight: 900;\"><em>Charity Shops<\/em><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/?page_id=29198\">Click here<\/a> to view the <strong>Ramsgate Charity Shops Guide.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><strong style=\"font-size: 28px;\"><em style=\"font-size: 23px; font-weight: 900;\">Gallery Shops<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/?page_id=28787\">Click here<\/a> to view the <strong>Ramsgate Art Gallery Guide\u00a0<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong style=\"font-size: 28px;\"><em style=\"font-size: 23px; font-weight: 900;\"><em>Specialist Shops &amp; Services<\/em><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong><a title=\"Grumpy Goblin Gaming Emporium\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/GrumpyGoblinGE\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Grumpy Goblin Gaming Emporium<\/a> <\/strong>&#8211; A specialist Gaming Store that sells Trading Card Games, Table top games, Board games, Graphic Novels and much more.\u00a0They also run regular Tournaments and Events.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-29146 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/resize1634424030190.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/resize1634424030190.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.noexpert.co.uk\/food\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/resize1634424030190-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 85vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.curiocollectorsemporium.co.uk\">Curio Collectors Emporium<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; A Hobby Shop &amp; Cafe, that sells models, paints, board and card games, hobby and art supplies. It has the only <strong>Waitrose<\/strong> in Thanet and away from the High Street there is an <strong>Aldi<\/strong>, a couple of\u00a0 branches of <strong>Tesco<\/strong>, a large <strong>Sainsbury&#8217;s<\/strong>, an\u00a0<strong>Asda<\/strong>, an <strong>Iceland<\/strong>, <strong>Londis, Costcutter <\/strong>and a\u00a0<strong>Co-op<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As well as :-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The<a href=\"https:\/\/en-gb.facebook.com\/pg\/familyhouse888\/about\/\"><strong> Family House Oriental Grocers<\/strong><\/a> in Kings Street, specialising in food &amp; drink products from China.
