Art Vents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Art can be a very controversial subject, so just ripe for vents, here are some of ours.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tracey Emin &#8211; Special Case<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/1\/hi\/uk\/8289295.stm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tracey Emin<\/a> is reporting that she may have to leave Britain for France in order to avoid paying Tax. Oh dear my heart bleeds for her.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;The taxes are too high, there aren&#8217;t enough incentives to work hard,&#8230;&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>So Tracy are you really telling me you work hard to produce what you do&#8230;.wow.<\/p>\n<p>I think you should really reflect on the nature of &#8220;hard work&#8221;. A nurse in a hospital works hard for very little reward. The only thing you have in common is that you both work with s*** all day long.<\/p>\n<p>You should think yourself lucky that you have a &#8216;job&#8217; that earns you large amounts of money and that you enjoy.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;At least in France their politicians have always understood the importance of culture and they have traditionally helped out artists with subsidy and some tax advantages,&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Tracy the only cultural contribution you and your fellow Art Marketeers have made is to be another marker in the decay of Western Art Criticism where B***s*** is recognised as genius!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vent over, here is the list:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The list is in no particular order. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>1. Artists who copyright public art.<\/p>\n<p>2. Artists with no technical skills &#8211; who think\u00a0Art\u00a0is stuffing a dead mouse in a cotton wool box or some such nonsense.<\/p>\n<p>3. Artists who get other people to make their art.<\/p>\n<p>4. Artists who are more into self publicity than the work itself.<\/p>\n<p>5. Art as a Market commodity.<\/p>\n<p>10. People who buy art and keep it in a vault.<\/p>\n<p>11. Art that is big just for the sake of it.<\/p>\n<p>12. Art galleries that are so busy that checking out the art is next to impossible &#8211; it&#8217;s like being on a conveyor belt.<\/p>\n<p>13. Art that is so badly constructed that it decays within the Artists life time (that does not include temporary Art in a medium that is meant to decay, like Pumpkin Carving or Ice Sculptures).<\/p>\n<p>14. Art that needs an essay in order to impart its meaning.<\/p>\n<p>15.\u00a0 Art NewSpeak &#8211; pretentious and pompous explanations of an &#8220;art work&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>16.
